This roughsawn macrocarpa casket is reminiscent of outback pioneer New Zealand caskets.

Internal measurements are standard for New Zealand coffin and casket sizes: 1940 mm long x 560 mm wide x 295 mm deep (approx 6'4" x 22" x 11.6")

External measurements are: 1980 mm long x 725 mm wide (includes handles) x 335 mm deep (approx. 6'6" x 29" x 13"

Has a shaped wooden rail handle running the full length for six or more pallbearers.

The casket is unlined so that you can line the casket with any fabric you desire.

The casket has a smooth flat plywood base suitable for use on the mechansims at crematoriums or loading into vehicles for transport.

This casket is suitable for land burial or cremation. It can also be easily modified to be suitable for sea-burials.
